Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Owen and Rachel were married at Walker Century Farm in Anderson. Walker Century Farm is a quaint and beautiful spot tucked away in Anderson that’s been around for over 100 years.
Rachel and Owen’s engagement session was the first time we had been out to the farm, and it’s an ideal setting for someone who wants an elegant, southern wedding venue with tons of gorgeous views. There’s tons of greenery, fields, farm animals, a cute little market, and the pavilion for events. That day with the soon-to-be newlyweds was so much fun.
Rachel and Owen met at Grace Church Anderson, which is how we know them both. It has been so sweet to get to know them as a couple and to watch their relationship grow.
Rachel and Owen originally had planned to get married on a family friend’s land, a hill where Owen proposed to Rachel back in June. Friday morning, they had to make the difficult call to move the wedding indoors to Walker Century Farms, their reception venue. With the threat of tons of rain coming in from Hurricane Delta, they decided to move toward their rain plan for the wedding day.
Even though it was not their original plan, it was such a beautiful day! The inside of Walker Pavilion was decorated perfectly with tons of twinkle lights, pastel heirloom pumpkins, and the most beautiful Fall colored florals by Elements of Nature. Everything about the decor screamed “classy autumn”. I loved it!
Owen and Rachel were described multiple times on their wedding day as “steady”, not just on the wedding day, but every day. They are individually both such reliable people who are hard workers and passionate about everything they have their hands in. Their wedding day demeanor was no different. Neither seemed nervous or anxious, just ready to be married.
Owen and Rachel shared a sweet first look before the ceremony and had a great time with their wedding party taking photos at Owen’s parents home, where they all got ready. Their beautiful home was the perfect backdrop for these photos, and we thought it was so sweet and sentimental that they were able to spend time on their wedding day at a place that meant so much to them, with the ones they love.
Owen and Rachel, we wish you all the best in your marriage and are excited to see how the Lord uses you guys and your marriage to glorify Him! We were truly so honored to be a part of your season of engagement and your sweet wedding day!
