We’ve been married for almost three years! It’s so crazy to think it’s been that long. We’ve had peaks and valleys, just like any marriage does. We have had a few hard times, but so many fun ones. Our marriage, faith, and our photography business has grown. We don’t claim to be perfect at this whole marriage thing…

Through our almost three years of marriage, we’ve been beyond blessed. We have a home we love and we never go hungry. Over the past couple of weeks, we have had something pressing on our hearts. We know our cups are overflowing with blessings, but we don’t feel like we are giving back enough. We are going to get a little vulnerable here…

Two weekends ago, we got to take a mini vacation to Asheville with some of the other leaders in our church. This was an intentional time of worship, rest, and reflection with men and women in our church from all different campuses around the Upstate who serve and lead in different ways. 

At the beginning of the month, when everyone was busy making new year’s resolutions, I was inspired by hearing many people chose a word of the year. With that, the word “dwell” kept coming to mind, mostly because of the Aaron Keys song “Dwell”

Last week we had the the best week (well, 4 days) overlooking the marsh of Hilton Head, thanks to Mitchel’s Aunt Sarah letting us borrow their condo! We really needed a few days of resting, laying on the beach, and having one-on-one time with no real agenda and Hilton Head is the perfect place for that.
